SoSAFE Implementation Guides and Case Studies

We have improved the SoSAFE Framework to increase accessibility to diverse groups of people with disability and the workforce sectors who support them. In doing so, we are building a bank of implementation guides and case studies around accessible and inclusive strategies to create effective social and sexual safety in a wide range of contexts.

    SoSAFE Implementation Guides

Each of the following Implementation Guides explores SoSAFE implementation in a specific context:

    • LGBTQIA+

    • First Nations

    • Rural and remote

    • Culturally and linguistically diverse.

Please note all these Guides will be useful in many contexts as there are overlaps in terms of implementation in many of the settings.

Each of the Implementation Guides document:

    • The attitudes, skills and knowledge works needed to implement SoSAFE in the settings

    • The shared approach, practices, tools, rules and language that are helpful in each setting

    • Key glossary terms

    • Support services

    • Additional resources.

These Implementation Guides reflect the initial learning processes of project phase 1 and will be added to throughout the life of the project.

The Implementation Guides are intended to guide all SoSAFE users to identify relevant learnings from other contexts to apply to their own settings.

    SoSAFE Implementation Case Studies

Each of the following case studies explores SoSAFE implementation in a unique context. The case studies document processes including:

    • A description of the organisation and the context

    • Some of the steps taken to begin SoSAFE implementation

    • Some of the resources created to support the implementation

    • Some of the barriers and enablers to implementation

These case studies reflect the initial processes and will be added to throughout the life of the project.

The case studies are intended to guide all SoSAFE users to identify relevant learnings from other contexts to apply to their own settings.
