    Where to get help

    If it is an emergency you can call the police on 000 for help.

    If it is not an emergency you can call the police on 131 444.

    Support to communicate

    If you have experienced sexual violence or are supporting someone who has, you can get support. 

    All people who may have difficulty speaking or understanding English have the right to request support services. This includes when talking to health professionals or police officers.

    There are no dedicated sexual, domestic or family violence support services or programs for culturally and linguistically diverse people in the ACT or TAS. However, some workers at their sexual assault services may be able to provide services in other languages on a case-by-case basis.
